The beta shows active, published AS, ASA, and NUF entities with at least NOK 50 million in documented operating revenue in the latest delivered company financial statements. Group revenue is not used to meet this threshold. The selection is being built in stages, and the map is not a complete overview of all companies. Addresses without an exact match are not shown as an estimated point. Sources are published Markedsdata company profiles with 2025 financial statements from Brønnøysundregistrene, exact address matching against Kartverket's address data dated October 17, 2026, and basemaps from OpenFreeMap/OpenStreetMap. A registered address does not establish that the entire business, its employees, or its revenue are located there.
Company financial statements are the default. Corporate-group view uses a different financial basis and may overlap across groups; group clusters are therefore weighted by the largest documented group value, not the sum. Company clusters show registered company values, not documented local value creation. At overview level, each bubble label shows the number of companies in the group. Select a bubble to zoom in; closer views show documented revenue and employee counts. The figures in “Key figures” follow the visible map view; different companies at the same address count separately as companies but only once as an address. We show documented financial figures, not an estimated market value. Missing figures are unknown and are not included in bubble sizes or the heatmap. Foreign currencies are shown in NOK using the existing conversion model; the original currency appears in the details. The heatmap uses the underlying documented points and is weighted by the selected metric, not just cluster centers. It shows relative concentration within the mapped selection, not documented local value creation.
